Artist Cindy Banes-Burkholder has been drawing and creating her whole life. She has studied in the Dordogne region of France under Laurie Doctor. In latter years, watercolors and lettering arts had become her passion.  Cindy finds that art journaling has been a great medium to lay down the colors of her soul daily.

     This exhibit includes a variety of Mixed media, including acrylic, watercolors and pen & ink.  Under paintings of soft earthen hues provide the perfect back drop for sumi ink to illustrate scriptural text, blind writing and the place to rest thoughts from deep inside.
