en plein air (French for "in the open air")
Over the years, there have been several events encouraging artists to paint en plein air in St. Charles, MO.
Sept 4-5, 2015, the Riverfront Paint Off once again extended this invitation to artists to grace our streets and bring them to life through their art. During this exhibit, Framations Art Gallery showed select paintings from both this years competition and past competitions.

Artists, were invited to come paint in Historic St. Charles, September 4-5, 2015, and display artwork from the event at Picasso’s Coffee House and at Framations Art Gallery and Remington’s Balloons and Framing.
