"Painting is my pleasure and photography is my passion. The greatest reward I receive is when someone looks at a photo that I have taken and enjoys the image as much as I did when I first saw it thru my view finder....making the seconds it took to snap the picture a never ending image of enjoyment to share with others forever."
~ Artist Jessica Dreyer
Jessica Dreyer's passion for photography began over forty years ago when she received her first Brownie Camera as a gift. She remains loyal to her 35mm Nikon and shoots exclusively in silver halide film. While Jessica takes immense pleasure in shooting with black and white films, she also enjoys the burst of color and contrast from color films that a select subject may offer. She has recently incorporated a SLR Digital Nikon into her camera collection after feeling the pressure from the never ending advancement of modern technology around her.
Jessica's pleasure for painting began at an even earlier age winning her first completion with a sketch following the completion of the Arch in the 60's. Painting in oil and acrylic, Jessica Dreyer's subject matter ranges from landscapes to seascapes to her very favorite form of expression..abstracts. Jessica Dreyer holds memberships with The Foundry, Oak Leaf Artist's Guild, Lake St. Louis Artist's Guild,St. Peters Community and Arts Center and the O'Fallon Photo Club. Her work in both photography and painting have won countless awards and are on display in homes and offices throughout the United States.
