Georganna is a Heritage Artist, with her main focus being quilting. She also crochets, knits, tats, carves, embroiders, and sews. She is a member of the Crossroads Arts Council and the St. Charles County Arts Council. She has exhibited her work at Wonders of Wood shows, St. Charles County Fair, Putnam County Fair, National Dairy Cattle Congress, St Peters Cultural Arts Center, Progress Park, Wentzville City Hall, the WREC, Dardenne Prairie City Hall, in the last six Spanning the Generations Art Shows and the last six Pieces of the Heart Quilt Shows sponsored by the Crossroads Arts Council. She participated as an artist in the 2020 and 2021 Arts and Ales. She has some of her work for sale at the Lillian Yahn Gallery, Booths on Main and Framations. She is a past member of the St. Charles Area Wood Carvers and the St. Peters Wood Carvers.
Georganna earned her Bachelors at the University of Northern Iowa, and her Masters at MIZZOU. She spent 38 years as a teacher, Coordinator of Religious Education, Adjunct Professor and Library Media Specialist. After retiring she spends most of her time quilting, gardening and reading. She quilts for St. Patrick Parish, St. Gianna Parish and Quilts of Valor of Eastern Missouri.
